Join us for our Holy Week services

Monday, April 14, 7:00pm

Holden Evening Prayer Service

With prayer, meditation, and song, we begin our Holy Week journey by candlelight. Join us in the sanctuary as we prepare our hearts and minds for the greatest story ever told to unfold.

THURSDAY, APRIL 17, 6:00PM

Maundy Thursday Dinner and Worship

As the disciples gathered on the night Jesus was arrested around a sacred meal and fellowship, we too will gather for a simple supper of soup and bread (including gf) for conversation and fellowship. Worship will begin with the dinner and we will transition to the sanctuary for communion, scripture, and the stripping of the altar. Join us as the story continues.

Friday, April 18, 12:00pm

Good Friday Worship and Stations of the Cross

“From noon until three, darkness came over the whole land.” Remembering the time of Jesus’ crucifixion, we read the passion story together and offer our prayers, confessions, and grief at this occasion. Following the service, we will walk the stations of the cross together, accompanied by tangible pieces of the story

The Seven Last Words of Christ

The gospels paint different pictures about what the end of Jesus’ life entailed. We will spend time this evening in a reflective and rhythmic service as we ponder the Seven Last Words of Christ. There will be a rhythm of scripture, reflection, prayer, and song. It will be a calm service as we imagine what that first night of Jesus’ death was like.

sunday, april 20, 6:00am

Sunrise Worship in the Courtyard

“Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark…” As if we were with Mary Magdalene and the women at the tomb on that first Easter, we gather before the sun is up to be the first to announce the good news of Jesus’ resurrection. A simple service of joy and Eucharist will be held to celebrate and proclaim!
